Inspired by a real-life scandal involving Swedish politicians and prostitutes in the 1970s, this political thriller weaves together multiple stories to create a damning portrait of government hypocrisy.

At the centre of the web of scandal is Madam Dagmar Glans (August), who keeps a black book of government officials, foreign ambassadors and criminals. Using gifts and alcohol, Dagmar grooms troubled 14 year olds Iris and Sonja for clients, including men running for parliament in the upcoming general elections. Meanwhile the activities of Dagmar and her cohort are being investigated by the police.
