John Turturro writes, directs and stars in this wry comedy about a man’s unexpected career move into male prostitution. Turturro is Fioravante, who finds himself, along with his friend Murray (Woody Allen), in financial difficulties when their bookshop closes.

When Murray overhears his doctor saying she would like to have a ménage à trois with her female friend, he offers Fioravante’s services – for a price. Soon, the two men work out a deal, with Murray as “pimp”, to sell Fioravante’s “skills” to other rich women throughout New York. But as love and money collide, flaws in this arrangement soon become apparent.
