17-year-old Isabelle is young and extremely beautiful. After losing her virginity to a German boy whilst on a family holiday, she takes on a secret identity as a high-class prostitute.

Newcomer Marine Vacth shines as Isabelle in this coming-of-age story about sexual awakening, from director François Ozon (In the House). Reminiscent of Luis Buñuel’s Belle de Jour, Ozon’s provocative film doesn’t succumb to straightforward answers, instead leaving the audience to make their own moral conclusions.

“A puzzling but accomplished meditation on youth.” ★★★★ The Telegraph
