Jean-Pierre Jeunet’s (Amélie) new film is a visually stunning and wonderful story of a troubled young boy’s journey across America.

Ten year old child prodigy T.S. Spivet lives with his nature loving mum (Helena Bonham Carter), his cowboy dad and his fame-seeking older sister on a ranch in Montana. Unknown to his family, T.S.’s perpetual motion machine has been awarded a prestigious prize by the Smithsonian Museum in Washington. En route to collect his prize, T.S. must confront chasing guards, his new found fame and his feelings about a family accident from his past.
