Tristan Bauer’s feature tells the tale of two young men sent to fight the 1982 war in the Falkland Islands now returning home, bearing the scars of their brutal and horrific experiences.

Twenty years after the war’s end, one of the two soldiers attempts suicide to escape his traumatic memories. This causes journalist Esteban Leguizamón to track him down, and he revisits, in a series of extended flashbacks, the scene of Argentina’s “unwinnable war.”

Followed by a Q&A with Embassy Minister Gustavo Bobrik, Embassy Secretary Pedro López Godoy and Latin American film expert Dr Santiago Oyarzabal (University of Warwick).
