Arriving in France from Senegal, Samba Cissé (Sy) has spent a decade enduring low-paid jobs: mall security, window cleaning and dish-washing.

When a job application is refused, the charming and hard-working Samba finds himself facing deportation. Introverted post-burn out immigration worker Alice (Gainsbourg) takes on his case and an unexpected friendship blossoms into romance.

Nakache’s and Toledano’s follow up to 2011’s world-wide hit The Intouchables features a moving score by chart-topping Italian composer Ludovico Einaudi.
