This gig is taking place in the Copper Rooms of the Students’ Union, just across the road from Warwick Arts Centre. This will be a standing show only. Tickets can be collected at Warwick Arts Centre Box Office until 7pm on the day. After this tickets will be available to collect from the door of the venue.

What do you get when you cross hi/lo-fi ‘emo’, folky violins and a bit of Norwegian romantic gloom? The answer is not, as you might expect a moodier version of Sigur Ros but a slightly more distortionally-charged outfit by the name of Dry the River.

The London-based outfit has been knocking around the UK in particular since 2010 and have a sound that is both folk/indie and something ‘else’. Signed to seminal Transgressive Records and clients of producer Peter Katis (The National, Interpol), their mature and energetic sound will wash over Copper Rooms 2 (in University of Warwick’s Student Union) like a sonic bath!
