While filing for a divorce, Roslyn Taber (Monroe) ends up meeting ageing cowboy-turned-gambler Gay Langland (Gable) and former World War II aviator Guido Racanelli (Wallach). The two men instantly become infatuated with Roslyn who in turn falls for Gay. On a whim the three decide to move into Guido’s half-finished desert home together. When grizzled ex-rodeo rider Perce Howland (Clift) arrives, the unlikely foursome strike up a business capturing wild horses.

The last film for both Marilyn Monroe and Clark Gable and a classic.
