Continuing with his trilogy focusing on port cities, director Aki Kaurismäki (Le Havre) returns with an outstanding and absurd comedy-drama, focusing on the European migrant crisis.

Arriving in Finland as a stowaway, Khaled (Haji) , a Syrian refugee, becomes trapped in a cycle of bureaucracy as he searches for his lost sister. Taken on at the Golden Pint restaurant by poker-playing entrepreneur Wikstrom (Kuosmanen), the two form an unlikely friendship.
