Following a fun-filled year, the Youth Theatre Showcase 2017 will see our Saturday groups perform some of their most exciting and innovative work yet, using all they’ve learned across the year! With performers from age 8 to 16, some performing on the stage for the very first time, it will definitely be an evening of new ideas, loads of energy and a lot of laughter!

Charlie and The Chocolate Factory will be performed by our younger group, in an original adaptation by our leaders and young people. Enter Willy Wonka’s factory for an adventure full of fun, danger and… squirrels?

In Peter Pan, a devised adaptation, our middle group will take you from modern-day England to the magical wonders of Neverland, full of adventure and pirates! Using movement, music and fantastic flying stage techniques!

The Reunion is a piece collaboratively storyboarded and written using the drama techniques we’ve been exploring across the year, in which the oldest group present a story that sees a group of ageing performers reunited- but old rivalries and flames come back to the fore as they do at all good reunions!
