Juliet Ashton (James) is a free-spirited journalist who hopes to tell the story of ‘The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society’, an eccentric book club whose love of fiction kept them going through the Nazi occupation of the Channel Islands. Upon visiting Guernsey, Juliet finds herself charmed by the locals, especially Dawsey Adams (Huisman), as she gains a deeper understanding of how the islanders survived the Nazi rule.

Featuring an exceptional supporting cast of British talent, and from the director of Four Weddings and a Funeral, this charming film is sure to delight.
