Chela (Brun) and Chiquita (Irún), both descended from wealthy families in Paraguay and part of society’s elite, have been together for over 30 years. When their financial situation suddenly worsens, they begin selling off their inherited possessions. However, thanks to accumulating debts that the bank calls fraud, Chiquita is imprisoned. Left alone with no money, Chela provides a local taxi service to a group of elderly, wealthy ladies. As she settles into her new life, she finally begins to break out of her shell to embark on her own personal revolution.
