Acclaimed international pianist Margaret Fingerhut performs a special recital to raise awareness of refugee needs and collect funds for refugee groups.

All the pieces in this wide-ranging programme have been curated for their association, with a theme of migration, exile and homesickness. She has specially commissioned a piece by the Kurdish Syrian composer Moutaz Arian, who wrote the stirring Refugee National Anthem for the Rio Olympics.

All the proceeds from the concert will go towards Coventry Refugee and Migrant Centre Destitution Fund, and there will be an opportunity for additional cash donations during the break.

Organised by Warwick University of Sanctuary as part of Warwick Refugee Week.
