Learn the traditional art of rag rugging using hessian sacking and up-cycled fabrics. Choose from a selection of items such as cushion covers, small rugs and bags to create your own beautiful piece.

Tools and some fabrics will be supplied, but you may wish to raid your stash at home and bring some medium weight fabrics such as duvet covers, sheets, discarded clothing etc. This is a great way to use up your child’s out grown garment or a late relative’s shirt to treasure those memories and knowing you are doing your bit for the environment by avoiding land fill.

Depending on how ambitious you feel, you may not finish on the day so the latch hook tool is yours to take home for finishing off your piece and for all those exciting future projects!
