planIT_shootIT_cutIT_shareIT! is a one day workshop that takes you through all of the stages of filmmaking: planning, shooting, cutting and sharing.
It is fun and very practical with lots of opportunity to learn and refine key filmmaking skills. You will produce a short film and look at the many ways in which films are shared and used.
For business or pleasure, this workshop will re-enforce prior knowledge and show best practice for new skills and methodology.
The workshop will be led by Jay Langdell – a former session musician and producer whose musical journey has spanned four decades. He moved away from music in 2008 to concentrate on filmmaking and has produced films for the 2012 Olympics, CBSO, BBC, Sennheiser, the 70th Anniversary of D-Day and many corporate films for the likes of JLR, Eon, South West Water and even GCHQ. 2019 has seen Jay working on commissions for Mitchells & Butler, The Rep, SMART Technology Ltd, Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, Helping Hands Charity and Normandy Day UK amongst many others.
