Creative Socials: Poetry Workshop With Jasmine Gardosi
Free, just drop in!
What makes you, you? Drop in for a fun, relaxed poetry workshop with former Birmingham Poet Laureate Jasmine Gardosi, inspired by Chorus of Strangers at the Mead Gallery.
Through playful prompts and interview questions, you’ll explore who you are, discover what makes others unique and turn your ideas into a poem. You can also add a “poetry brick” to a growing group poem, We Are Warwick. Come as strangers, leave as friends!
Creative Socials are Warwick Arts Centre’s free, artist- and student-led workshops - a chance to get creative, meet new people and take some time for yourself. No previous poetry experience needed.
Jasmine Gardosi is a multiple slam champion, beatboxer and former Birmingham Poet Laureate. Their work explores beatbox poetry, neurodivergence, LGBTQ+ identity and mental health, and has featured at Tate Modern, Glastonbury, Symphony Hall, BBC and Sky Arts.
