Symphonic Brass, a part of Brass Society, is an auditioned ensemble playing a variety of music, from baroque fanfares to pop songs and jazz.
The group is smaller than the society’s “main band”, and unlike a standard brass band includes trumpets and French horns, as well as trombones, tubas and percussion. We perform at the society’s termly concerts and at numerous other events throughout the year.
If you’d like to know more about us, or about Brass Society in general, come and speak to us or bring your instrument to one of our rehearsals in the ensemble room on Fridays from 5pm to 7:30pm.
