Join comedian and writer, Sukh Kaur Ojla, and special guests for an entertaining yet emotional deep dive into what it means to live life without a blueprint.

In this intimate and one-off evening presented in partnership with Warwick Arts Centre, Sukh shares her experience of being single and child-free in her 40s whilst also being born into a culture that holds marriage and babies as the ultimate accomplishment, without alternative.

She also explores wellness, boundary-setting, and the power of saying “no” after a life of people pleasing.

Get inspired by Sukh’s personal journey to date, and those of other prominent, trailblazing women also challenging the status quo in unique and powerful ways.

This event includes a Q&A to close.

Special Guest - Amrit Kaur

Born and raised in Tottenham, Amrit is a singer-songwriter, composer, and one of a handful of female Sarangi players globally. Known for the Sarangi’s close connection to the human voice, her powerhouse vocals and instrumentation have been described by OZY magazine as “the place where Punjabi folk meets Aretha soul.”

Amrit began touring internationally at the age of 14 and has performed at Glastonbury, The Jazz Café, The Barbican, and the UN General Assembly, including appearances alongside the Marley family. Her background as a historian informs her storytelling, with live shows inviting audiences on a journey through time and music.

She will perform a 20-minute set of music to open the evening.
