In this modern production of Shakespeare’s classic tragedy Hamlet, ShakeSoc explores grief as a raw and contemporary concept.

At the core of this tragedy, Hamlet is a young son mourning his father left trying to make sense of loss in a world that suddenly feels unstable.

Looking into the emotional weight of mourning and the confusion that comes with it, this production asks the question, ‘what happens when grief goes unspoken and unresolved?’

Whether you know Hamlet well or not, a powerful and accessible experience is offered that speaks about the struggle to keep going when everything has changed.

Presented by Warwick University Shakespeare Society (ShakeSoc).
