A young Parisian struggles with an unexpected diagnosis in Pauline Loquès’s acclaimed debut.
The day before his 29th birthday, Nino (Théodore Pellerin) receives an upsetting diagnosis. His condition is treatable, but the treatment will come at a cost. Shaken and overwhelmed, Nino embarks on a weekend-long emotional odyssey, reconnecting with friends, family and himself. Pauline Loquès’s tender, humane debut is an ode to the French New Wave, including a tip of the hat to Agnès Varda’s Cléo from 5 to 7.
