In the face of this bleak reality, Julie Lunde Lillesæter’s vital documentary introduces us to Amy, Marina and Hanna, three women whose own cases were dismissed by Texas police. They join forces with 12 others in a landmark federal class-action lawsuit – the first to argue that the reason sexual assault isn’t prosecuted is that it predominantly affects women.
