Platform - The Wolves
Free, booking required
There is a post-show talk after the Saturday matinee.
Undefeated, fierce, funny, and occasionally vulgar, The Wolves are a top football team in the age 16-18 indoor league.
From the safety of their suburban stretch circle, the team navigates big questions and wages tiny battles with all the vim and vigour of a pack of adolescent warriors.
Featuring an all-female cast, The Wolves chronicles six Saturday mornings of a football team somewhere in suburban America as they prepare for their games. The girls discuss everything from genocide to menstrual cycles to each other. In this time, the Wolves deal with love, loss, and identity in ways that real teenagers do.
Our Platform programme supports University of Warwick students to showcase new works and works in progress on our stages and in our spaces.
