John Grant has had an illustrious musical career both as a member of his band The Czars and latterly as a critically acclaimed solo performer.

As well as releasing and touring his 2024 album, The Art Of The Lie, the past year has seen him duet with the brilliant CMAT and provide guest vocals on a track with Big Special. Meanwhile he is embarking on one of his most ambitious projects to date writing the music for, and starring in, the ballet production of A Single Man premiering at the Manchester International Festival and then London’s Opera House.

Whilst forging his own records, Grant’s adventures in mood and sound has featured numerous collaborators, including Sinead O’Connor, Tracey Thorne, Elbow, David Arnold, Kylie Minogue and Robbie Williams amongst others.

If Grant’s records are beautifully cut jewels, his star shines even brighter on stage. Typically backed by an empathic band of musicians, this endearing character’s deeply personal sagas trigger a rapturous response from his audiences.
