Oscar-winners Joaquin Phoenix and Emma Stone star alongside Pedro Pascal in Hereditary and Midsommar director Ari Aster’s “sniper-accurate vision of America” (Next Best Picture).

In May 2020, as the COVID-19 pandemic spirals across the world, a standoff between a small-town sheriff (Joaquin Phoenix) and mayor (Pedro Pascal) sparks a powder keg in (fictional) Eddington, New Mexico. A neo-Western with darkly comic elements, Eddington follows the political and social fallout of an unprecedented time in contemporary America.
