This community performance is an artistic interpretation of true-life stories relating to mental health, addiction, neurodiversity, loan sharks, PTSD, bereavement and suicide.

We wish to leave you inspired by the idea that we can all do our bit to reduce the risk of suicide by being kind, listening, and offering hope to those who feel their life is a challenge.

We are delighted to feature Coventry’s Choir With No Name who will perform two numbers on the night. Choir With No Name is a national project which builds joyful singing communities with people impacted by homelessness and marginalisation, around the UK.

Anyone can experience low mood, anxiety, addiction and depression; they do not discriminate. That is why we named this production WoW – Willenhall or Warwick, representing two distinct demographic areas within Coventry and Warwickshire with differing social economics. Where and how we live influences our health outcomes and access to community services.

Cast members are often playing themselves or someone close to them:

Ben Begg – playing himself

Janet Doran – Grapevine worker

Alastair Penman – Narrator

Lloyd Scott – Paul

Prasanna Velayutham - performing as himself as a Mental Health Nurse

Lucy Rout –  Jane

Dr Sarah Raistrick – performing as herself as a GP based in Willenhall

Professor Simon Brake – various!

Robin Toft –  Terry

Louise Setterfield – Shirley

Matty Loat – Jack

Production team

Maria Doyle – Director
