Hayao Miyazaki’s most beloved film is an icon of Studio Ghibli animation – a deeply felt, humorous and beguiling fantasy.
In post-war Japan, professor Tatsuo and his daughters Satsuki and Mei move to the countryside, close to a hospital where the girls' mother is recovering. Exploring their new home and its lush rural environs, they encounter a vast, roaring, furry creature who first alarms – then charms. An entrancing view of the natural world, My Neighbour Totoro is replete with a child’s sense of wonder, imagination and delight.
Please note there are no ads or trailers. The film will start 10 minutes after the advertised start time to allow everyone time to get comfortable.
