One year on from his passing, join us for Seb Farrall: A Celebration, an afternoon concert in memory of an extraordinary musician, leader, husband, daddy and friend.

This will be a time not only to mourn his absence, but to give thanks for the warmth, creativity and inclusive spirit that he brought to every musical venture.

Sebastian “Seb” Farrall was a conductor, composer, arranger and visionary whose commitment to community music transformed Coventry, Warwickshire, and beyond. He believed passionately that music should be accessible to all, regardless of experience, background or confidence. He set up and led groups that welcomed singers and instrumentalists from all walks of life, and in doing so he gifted hundreds of people with a musical home.

This concert brings together many of the ensembles Seb founded, led and performed with, in a varied programme reflecting the breadth of his musical world.

Performers include:

  • Sing It Loud Choir
  • Coventry City of Culture Orchestra
  • Bad Vibrations
  • Stoneleigh Ladies Choir
  • Burton Green Choir
  • Coventry Salvation Army Choir & Band
  • Participants from The Music Man Project

During this concert, you will hear a wide variety of music, choral pieces, orchestral works, community singing, and more, in a unique tapestry that honours Seb’s eclectic musical palette.

Come to reflect, to celebrate, and to keep alive the music and communities Seb nurtured. Whether you sang under his direction, played in one of his ensembles, or admired from the wings, your presence will help make this event a tribute of which he would be proud.

The ticket revenue from this event raises funds for The Music Man Project, a multi-award-winning music education and performance service for people with learning disabilities.
