Summer Symphonic Spectacular
Tickets: £12 (£11)
Students & Under 26: £8.50
Join us for another epic, spectacular end-of-year concert!
The University of Warwick Symphony Orchestra and Chorus are coming together once again for an afternoon of vibrant music-making.
The programme includes Florence Price’s Ethiopia’s Shadow in America, a powerful and moving reflection on the African-American experience, inspired by Ethiopia as a symbol of resilience and hope.
You’ll be transported to the streets of France with George Gershwin’s lively An American in Paris, complete with the famous sounds of Parisian taxi horns.
The concert will also feature a performance from the winner of our annual Concerto Competition. We close with the radiant joy of Puccini’s Gloria, a fitting finale to celebrate a year of music and community.
