Actor and writer-director Eva Victor’s remarkable debut, Sorry, Baby is co-produced by Barry Jenkins (Moonlight).

Something bad happened to Agnes (Victor). Though a brilliant professor at a New England college, her life has only inched forward while that of her adored best friend Lydie (Naomie Ackie) has bloomed. Following their reunion, the film revisits the sexual assault that derailed Agnes and her (partial) recovery. A wildly impressive debut exploring the lingering after-effects of trauma, Sorry, Baby is a #MeToo story of uncommon depth, intelligence and humour.
