Modern Clay: Patterned Plates
Tickets: £21
This workshop is inspired by the exhibition, Takuro Kuwata, Tea Bowl Punk.
The workshop takes place 6pm - 8pm.
In this workshop, you will learn how to roll and press-mould a ceramic plate.
Looking at the vibrant colours and textures in Takuro Kuwata’s work, you will have the opportunity to decorate your plate using coloured slips, underglazes and sgraffito techniques.
Plates made in this session will be fired and glazed and added to the gallery studio display, to be returned to participants when the exhibition finishes.
This workshop is led by artist and Modern Clay co-director Sarah Taylor Silverwood.
