An American photographer and a French woman with a taste for the macabre develop an unusual bond in this unconventional rom-com.
Winner of two awards at Venice Film Festival 2024. Paul (Jérémie Galiana) and Paulette’s (Marie Benati) chance encounter on a Parisian boulevard sparks a relationship around a dark game; reenacting scenes of notorious crimes from bygone eras at the sites they occurred. Jethro Massey’s terrific feature debut was shot at iconic Paris locations including Père Lachaise cemetery and Marie Antoinette’s prison cell in La Conciergerie.
