C.C. Baxter (Lemon) is a hapless office clerk who tries to court favour with the executives in his office by loaning the key to his apartment for their affairs. But how can he keep spinning all the plates? His list of temporary ‘house guests’ and their demands keep growing, the holidays are fast approaching, and there’s a certain elevator operator - Miss Kubelik (MacLaine) - he just can’t get out of his head…
