In the late 19th century celebrated authors reignited an old oral storytelling tradition - ghost stories at Christmas. It was nearly a hundred years later when the BBC began its regular haunting broadcasts which are some of the best examples of early British horror. We’re so excited to share these with you, alongside some spectral tales from our very own venue. Come along to find out more and experience the modern cinematic equivalent of a camp fire gathering!
Live introductions and ghost stories
Our screen producer James McEvoy will host the screening, introducing the two short films and sharing ghostly tales from Warwick Arts Centre.
