Award-winning filmmaker Ben Rivers continues his fascination with a Scottish forest-dweller in this glorious new film.

Bogancloch is where modern-day hermit Jake Williams lives, nestled in one of Scotland’s vast highland forests. Capturing his daily life on different stocks of 16mm film, Rivers’ utterly mesmerising new film is a follow-up to his previous portrait of Jake that also stands on its own – an entrancing, dreamlike meditation on nature, solitude, the power of music and one individual’s singular approach to life.
