Professor David Olusoga OBE speaks to Kwame Kwei-Armah, Chair of Warwick Arts Centre’s Advisory Board in an event exploring Black British History, as we look back at 60 years since the UK's first Race Relations Act.

Where do we find ourselves, as a nation, socially, culturally and politically, in 2025? How far have we come and how far do we still have to go?

David Olusoga is a British-Nigerian historian, author, presenter and BAFTA winning film-maker. He is Professor of Public History at the University of Manchester and a columnist for The Observer. He writes also for The Guardian, The New Statesman, The Voice and BBC History Magazine.

Part of a series of exciting events taking place throughout 2025 to celebrate the University of Warwick's landmark 60th Anniversary
