Modern Clay: Geometric Vessels
Tickets: £21
This workshop is inspired by the exhibition, Takuro Kuwata, Tea Bowl Punk.
The workshop takes place 6pm - 8pm.
Using the slab building technique, you will design and make a geometric vessel, such as a vase or jug.
This workshop is inspired by Takuro Kuwata’s work. You will begin by making a version in paper that will form the template for your ceramic vessel. Shapes of rolled clay are then cut and assembled into a usable vase.
Vases made in this session will be fired and glazed and added to the gallery studio display, to be returned to participants when the exhibition finishes.
This workshop is led by artist and Modern Clay co-director Joanne Masding.
