The lives of young deaf people are explored in all their intricacies in this searching, beautifully performed drama set in contemporary Hong Kong.
Based on research and collaboratively made, Adam Wong Sau-Ping’s (The Way We Dance) sixth feature is a moving portrait of friendship and belonging. Wolf, Alan and Sophie all have different levels of deafness. When Sophie graduates and starts a new job, her perspective on life changes, and tensions grow between the friends as they become conflicted over how best to communicate with the world while remaining true to themselves.
