17-year-old Sam (Lily Collias) goes camping with her dad (James Le Gros) and his long-time buddy Matt (Danny McCarthy). The two men have a brotherly, quarrelsome dynamic, which Sam – wise beyond her years – tries to mediate. But when lines are crossed and Sam’s trust is betrayed, the trio’s relationships are cast in a difficult new light.
