Liquorice Sticks
Free, drop in - no need to book
Liquorice Sticks are the university clarinet ensemble.
They are part of the University of Warwick Wind Orchestra and one of their four small bands (the others being Feeling Saxy, Flute Choir and Duck Duck Goose) for double reed instruments and recorders.
The ensemble is student-run and will play a variety of pieces in this performance, from Tritsch-Tratsch Polka and Londonderry Air to How To Train Your Dragon and You’ve Got a Friend in Me.
Liquorice Sticks rehearse on Wednesdays from 5-7pm in the Meeting Room in the Arts Centre. If you play the clarinet, they would love to see you there!
