Warwick Arts Centre continually reviews and strengthens its security arrangements through staff training, event-specific planning and partnership working with the University of Warwick Campus and Community Safety team, emergency services and local authorities.

While no venue can entirely eliminate risk, we remain committed to maintaining a safe, welcoming and enjoyable environment for everyone who visits.

Help Us Keep Everyone Safe

The safety of everyone at Warwick Arts Centre relies on staff and visitors working together. 

We actively support national counter terrorism and public safety initiatives and work closely with police, emergency services and security partners to protect our visitors. 

If something does not feel right, please report it immediately. No concern is too small. Our teams will take all reports seriously. 

Examples may include: 

Unattended bags or packages 
Suspicious behaviour 
Someone attempting to access restricted areas 
Threatening or concerning comments 
Activity that appears unsafe or unusual

You can help us provide a safe and enjoyable experience by: 

Arriving early and allowing extra time for security screening 
Bringing as few items as possible 
Following directions from staff and security personnel 
Remaining aware of your surroundings 
Looking out for fellow visitors 
Never leaving bags unattended 
Never agreeing to look after a stranger's belongings 
Listening carefully to announcements and instructions during an incident or evacuation

A member of staff 
A steward or security officer 
In an emergency, always call 999
