Want to help shape what happens at Warwick Arts Centre? Join the Platform Student Committee!
Do you love music, theatre, film, visual art, comedy or dance? Do you have ideas about what students want to see and experience? If you’re passionate about culture and want to have a voice in shaping your generation’s creative experiences, we want to hear from you!
The Platform Student Committee brings together 12 students from across Warwick University to work with the Warwick Arts Centre teams to develop ideas and share perspectives.
This isn’t just about giving feedback - you’ll have a genuine say in what happens.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Work with the Arts Centre team to develop a student-led event
- Share ideas about what students want to see, hear and experience
- Help make Warwick Arts Centre more welcoming, relevant and representative
- Get involved in creative marketing, including Instagram takeovers and foyer activity
- Meet other students passionate about creativity and culture
- Attend events and share your thoughts
WHAT DO YOU GET?
You’ll receive 6-8 free tickets to events at Warwick Arts Centre, alongside hands-on experience of working in a multi-artform cultural venue.
You’ll develop skills and confidence in programming, marketing, audience development, event production and creative collaboration, take part in workshops with the Arts Centre team, and have the opportunity for Warwick Award recognition.
WHO CAN APPLY?
Any Warwick student can apply. You don’t need to study an arts subject or have previous experience. We want a diverse range of voices, backgrounds, courses, interests and experiences.
