Founded in 2015 by the visionary double bass player Chi-chi Nwanoku CBE, Chineke! is a beacon of change in the classical music world. Providing career opportunities for Black and ethnically diverse classical musicians in the UK and Europe, the Chineke! Orchestra and Chineke! Junior Orchestra have captivated audiences with their exceptional performances. Their flagship ensemble, the Chineke! Orchestra, has graced stages including the Royal Albert Hall and is a Resident Orchestra at the Southbank Centre.

At the heart of the Black [untitled] collective is a powerful commitment to nurturing a sense of community for Black creators, from writers and artists to musicians and designers.

This collective provides a vital space for exploration and self-expression. Providing a platform that amplifies diverse voices and stories and offering a haven for those who seek to forge their artistic paths in an inclusive and supportive environment.

We’re working with Black [untitled] throughout the year to deliver events that bring people together through creativity.
