Visitors to our wonderful cinema can enjoy discounted £4 tickets on Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 September 2026 - all thanks to National Cinema Weekend.

Borne out of the huge success of National Cinema Day, which debuted in 2022, the now expanded National Cinema Weekend invites audiences to come together and rediscover the joy of cinema: the big screen, the immersive sound, shared reactions and the simple pleasure of experiencing a great story together.

With all tickets just £4 each for the entire weekend, the two-day celebration offers everyone a chance to enjoy the latest blockbuster, treat themselves to a movie marathon, or take a chance on something new.

At Warwick Arts Centre, you'll be able to savour six great movies, that range from a rocket-fuelled family hit to the latest work from a European master …

Films showing this weekend:

• The Death of Robin Hood (15) - a fresh take on a legendary character from A24 starring Hugh Jackman (as Robin) and Jodie Cromer.

• The Odyssey (15) - After his Oscar-winning triumph Oppenheimer, Christopher Nolan moves to the mythic with an action epic adaptation of Homer’s heroic saga.

• Coyote vs Acme (PG) - Looney Tunes live-action/animated legal comedy as Wile E Coyote sets out to sue the Acme Corporation for their defective Roadrunner traps.

• & Sons (15) - an adaptation of novelist David Gilbert's Lear-like drama with Bill Nighy, Johnny Flynn and Imelda Staunton. Pure class.

• Spider-Man: Brand New Day (12A) - Tom Holland returns as Spider-Man in a world that has forgotten his name.

• Bitter Christmas (15) - the new film-inspired film from legendary Spanish auteur Pedro Almodóvar.

Plus, on Saturday-only, a special preview of the forthcoming jet-black dark comedy thriller Bad Apples (15), starring four-time Oscar nominee Saoirse Ronan as a teacher on the edge of desperation.
