Friday 28 November

The festive season is upon us! Celebrate Christmas 2025 here at Warwick Arts Centre and make special memories with your family. We welcome you to join us for a fabulous selection of events, from festive films to stunning shows, workshops and plenty of family fun. Discover our events or get inspired by our seasonal highlights below.

What kind of music events are happening this Christmas?

There’s no better way to get into a festive mood than through the power of music! With superb concerts coming up this season, the only question is which is on your wish list? The legendary BBC Concert Orchestra will be taking us on a cinematic journey through music, or why not celebrate with Down for the Count Swing Orchestra: Swing Into Christmas to enjoy an incredible vintage ensemble?

For further festive music, enjoy the fabulous Warwick Chamber Choir’s Wintertide: University of Warwick Chamber Choir. Make sure to also check out Eliza Carthy & Jon Boden's Wassail, which will take audiences back to some of the oldest songs in the English canon to spread some festive magic this winter.

What family activities are on this Christmas?

Feel dazzled by science at the Christmas Lectures. The award-winning science spectacle returns for 2025 with Ally Caldecote and some of our favourite scientists from the University of Warwick. Join them as they swap labs for the stage to entertain, inspire and amaze!

For fabulous theatre, don’t miss The Tiger Who Came To Tea which comes to Warwick Arts Centre direct from the West End! This is our 2025 Christmas show, with sing-a-long songs and lots of activities in our Foyer to bring the magic to life!

Family Sundays also continues in December, with a festive highlight of Ashlee Elizabeth – Lolo: Spreading Festive Joy through a variety of creative writing activities for a touch of seasonal magic!

There’s something for everyone throughout the season, from classic favourite It’s a Wonderful Life, family fun with The Muppet Christmas Carol, or the spook-tacular Ghost Stories for Christmas!
