The Flying Lovers of Vitebsk: Online!

Bring Kneehigh's The Flying Lovers of Vitebsk into your home, coming to your home live from the stage at the Bristol Old Vic for 4 performances from Thu 3 – Sat 5 Dec 2020.

Knowing that Warwick Arts Centre audiences have always loved a Kneehigh show, we’ve teamed up with our friends Wise Children and Bristol Old Vic to present 4 performances of Kneehigh’s award-winning The Flying Lovers of Vitebsk, inspired by the paintings and life of the artist Marc Chagall and his wife and directed by Emma Rice.

Unlike other pre-recorded digital screenings, the visually stunning, intimate and emotional production will be a truly one-off experience brought straight to your TV.

The company have been isolating together in one large bubble for the last two weeks so that the show can be performed in its original form. With no social distancing, expect something as magical as one of Marc Chagall’s paintings, with singing, dancing and perhaps even a large blue fish!

We know a live-streamed show isn’t the same as actually going to the theatre and we also understand that watching things online can be hard work. But we think this is just like theatre used to be – almost!
