London, 1960. After killing a rival in self-defence, gangster Chas (Fox) must go on the run from the law enforcement and his angry boss. As a result he finds himself in a vast, bohemian Notting Hill townhouse occupied by burned-out ex-cop star Turner (Jagger). Living in his own little world of art, sex, music, and drugs, Turner seems to be the polar opposite to the macho Chas. However, as the once hard lines between the pair start to blur, the film delves into the flux between fantasy and reality in this spell-biding, boundary pushing film.
