Details

A motley crew of storytelling musicians bring Oscar Wilde’s classic fairy tales to life in Tall Stories’ magical new show, direct from London’s West End. Characters from The Happy Prince and other stories spring to life as the pompous mayor, the petulant princess and the love-sick student compete to become the new town statue.

Hauntingly beautiful tales for everyone aged 5 – 105 told with original live music and a generous dash of comedy.

Relaxed Performance

There will be a relaxed performance of Wilde Creatures on Sun 9 Dec at 11am. This performance is designed to welcome audience members who will benefit from a more relaxed environment in the theatre. The performance itself will remain the same but the usual light and sound effects will be adapted to make the space as welcoming and accessible as possible. Audience members are able to make noise and use electronic devices to enhance their enjoyment of the show. They are also allowed to come in and out of the show as they wish and we will have a break-out space available before, throughout and after the performance for anyone who wants to find a quiet space away from the action on stage.

Sensory Space

If you are joining us for performances on Sun 9 Dec, why not come and join us in our Creative Learning Space between 10am and 4pm in the lower foyer for some free sensory play and creative activities. It’s the perfect place to visit if you need a little break from the show. Suitable for ages 5+.
