Amina Khayyam presents A Thousand Faces, a bold dance-theatre production that features Abhinaya, an intricate and detailed element of the north Indian classical dance form, Kathak. Using the imagery of Bollywood beauty and Hollywood glamour to explore violence against women, in particular, acid attacks, Amina Khayyam delivers a wholly unique and innovative performance.
Originally made with support from Akademi, Rich Mix, Cockpit Theatre, Sampad and mac Birmingham. Presented in association with Acid Survivors Trust International.
