Dash Arts creates artistic experiences that challenge the way we see the world in collaboration with exceptional international artists. Intimate and informal, Dash Cafés offer a chance to encounter new ideas, surprising perspectives and unusual artists.
This special Dash Café will draw on traditional knowledge of our environment by bringing together a group of Indigenous activists and musicians from around the world. Sharing wisdom from the past, we will explore how we can be better caretakers of our world through performance, music, and storytelling.
Featuring extraordinary artist-activists including Ecuadorian Shaman Kurikindi, West Papuan musicians The Lani Singers, folk artist Sam Lee, and Peruvian puppeteers José Navarro and Bella Lane.
Co-curated by Border Crossings’ ORIGINS Festival.
