Stubbleman presents an ambient mixture of found sounds, modular synthesizers, live piano, bass, and self-made automats and drones in a cinematic soundscape inspired by his American roadtrip.

Pascal Gabriel’s musical career began back in the 70s punk band The Razors, on to the sample heavy S’Express and Bomb the Bass of the 80s, then to writing and producing artists such as Kylie Minogue, Dido, Ladyhawke, Bebel Gilberto and more. Now Pascal’s solo project, Stubbleman, sees a return to his electronic and ambient roots with new album Mountains and Plains, released on Marc Hollander’s label Crammed Discs, to critical acclaim.

From The Source is a new festival for Coventry, inspired by jazz. Warwick Arts Centre has a rich history of showcasing inspiring stars and top young talent, from Amy Winehouse (2004) to Go Go Penguin (2016). From The Source draws on this tradition and points to where jazz is going next.
